Hey guys! Happy to connect today and learn more about the Rainbow Token project! Can you tell us more about the founding of the Rainbow Token project and what the problem is that you were addressing?
RAINBOW token was originally created as a solution to joining together the strongest protocols seen in BEP-20 tokens on the Binance Smart Chain. I thought to myself, why can’t we have all of these things? Why can’t they all come together to create one truly powerful token? That is how Rainbow Token was born.
Could you please give us a rundown of the most important things about the Rainbow Token project?
There are a whole bunch of things that I think are important about Rainbow Token, but if I had to pick one it would be the community spirit. We have a strong community, which has stuck with us for nearly a year now, and they’re incredibly engaged with what we are doing. This is really proven by the fact that we released a bot that rewards our users with crypto for tweeting us out! Personally, I haven't seen a community like ours in the crypto space, it really does feel like a safe space, everyone’s so welcoming to each other and always trying to help one another out.
So going forth into 2022 and beyond, how will your project make an impact in the crypto space, or on the world?
Rainbow Token will be creating tools and services that can be used by anyone. Our vision is to make blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies more accessible than they ever have been. Beyond this, the team is planning on eventually branching out and creating a game called Kingdoms of Asgard which will be a new play-to-earn and earn-while-away NFT game. For those of you who have played games such as Emross War or Clash of Clans, it will be similar to this — allowing you to build a settlement/fort and raid each other.
Now, could you tell us about Rainbow Token’s accomplishments so far, and in the history of the project, please tell us what you are most proud of.
$RAINBOW as a token has achieved over 55,000+ holders, a $36M+ market cap, and an all-time-high 24-hour volume of $11M+. The smart contract has dealt out over $1M+ in reflections, which are taxed tokens distributed to each existing holder, and we’ve personally given out over $70,000+ to charities.
We’ve been listed on BitMart as a central exchange, and Guardarian as a fiat-crypto provider allowing individuals to purchase crypto with credit cards.
Now, give us a quick rundown of the future of the Rainbow Token project. For example, what new things are you seeking to bring to life and what will it mean for the overall project?
Eventually, we have plans to bridge to the Ethereum network, giving us access to a wider range of crypto traders and exposing us to tight-knit ETH-only whale groups. We also have plans to create NFT collections, and a upgradable contracts, both of which we are incredibly excited about.
Tell us about your team. Who’re the people behind the screens?
There are 4 of us that are on the core leadership team. There is Welshy who handles the marketing, Martin who is our in-house crypto daytrader, and Haynes who handles the social media accounts. From the moment we wake up, to the moment we go to sleep, we’re all discussing things on how to best manage the project and possible ideas for the future. The four of us have known each other an incredibly long time, this is probably a big reason why we work so well alongside each other.
Which partnerships have Rainbow Token engaged so far, and which ones are the most impactful?
RAINBOW has partnered with a lot of teams now, whether it's exchange companies, market makers, graphic designers or other projects — we are in talks with them all. One area which stands out has to be the graphic design team, they have impacted the project massively. One area, in particular, is with our branding, I personally feel like Rainbow has a clear, clean brand identity which you can see across all of our websites and our socials.
Now on a more technical side of things, what are the coin metrics for $RAINBOW, and how do these lead to a stable and balanced system?
$RAINBOW carries with it at 7% on-chain tax, which is taken and split across 7 protocols. The seven protocols that we use are ”Burn”, ”Buyback”, ”Reflection”, ”Charity”, ”Liquidity”, ”Development” and ”Lucky dip”. Before $RAINBOW there wasn’t a project doing anything like this, I thought why can’t a project include multiple tokenomics, would they all work well together? This is where Rainbow began and the project has proven that the tokenomics work incredibly well together.
